I am Keren Remes, an artist based in Northern New Jersey. Wine has a way of sparking my imagination, and it often finds its way into my work. I mostly paint with acrylics, though I like to experiment with different materials and styles. Travel has been at the heart of my passion for over two decades working in the hospitality industry. The worlds of art and wine have always been constant sources of inspiration, a beautiful complement to so many of life’s special moments.

I incorporate wine corks, bottles and edges of wine glasses into some of my work, using them as tools to create pieces that spark conversation. In each piece, I aim to express depth, layers and beautiful vibrant colors. From deep, rich hues to the colorful textures, each piece tells a unique story. A color palette can set a mood bringing each piece to life with its own expression and experience, resembling a winemaker creating their favorite blend.
